Join us to worship our Lord
Worship at Crossroads Presbyterian Church is “come as you are.” All are welcome, for we are all children of God. Dress ranges from casual to dressy depending on one’s individual comfort level. Worship is traditional in style, with contemporary elements.
The congregation is encouraged to greet one another warmly and sign the attendance pads at the beginning of each service. Children are welcome and their joyful noise is truly a blessing as we praise God from whom all blessings flow! For those who prefer to send their children in grades K-5 to Sunday School, volunteers are available to take your children to a time of learning and fun following the time of Confession and Pardon, about fifteen minutes into the service.
Church events such as potlucks, guest speakers, arts and crafts, movies, and anniversary and birthday celebrations and more take place on a regular basis, usually during Hospitality Time.
At Crossroads, you may come as a visitor, but you will leave as a friend! |

A typical service lasts one hour and consists of a Song of Welcome, a responsive Call to Worship, an Opening Hymn, a Scripture reading from the Old or New Testament, a second Hymn, a time of Confession and Pardon, a second Scripture reading and the Pastor’s Message, followed by a Statement of Faith, Prayers of the People, a Time of Offering, a sung Doxology, and a Benediction. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated at least monthly, often on the first Sunday of the month, and on other days important in the life of the church, such as Ash Wednesday and Maundy Thursday. Following the conclusion of Worship, a time of Hospitality / Coffee Hour takes place in the Fellowship Hall, where friends old and new gather to catch up with one another.
