Crossroads Club
Crossroads Club is designed for young adults from aged 19 - 26+ who have special needs (on the autism spectrum or other mental, physical, or emotional challenges). Crossroads Club tries to meet monthly during the school year to offer young adults hands-on activities and fellowship opportunities. Crossroads Presbyterian Church has offered this program since Fall 2017 with assistance from grants from the Presbyterian Church USA and locally by the Presbytery of Detroit.
Operation Christmas ChildPacking shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items is an annual event at Crossroads. Last November thirty shoeboxes were shipped from our hands to the hands of children overseas. Samaritan’s Purse says, “the mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.”

Fleece and Thank YouThe women of Crossroads have participated in this wonderful mission just prior to the holidays. Blanket kits are purchased from the Fleece and Thank You, a Farmington Hills-based nonprofit. The goal is to provide every child facing hospital treatments with a colorful, comfortable fleece blanket and a video message of support.
