Pastor Josh Archey

Pastor

Picture
Pastor Josh was born in Valdosta, Georgia to an Air Force family, and grew up in Germany, Texas, and Michigan. Raised in the United Methodist Church, Pastor Josh and his wife Dawn found a home at the Presbyterian Campus Ministry at the University of Oregon during graduate school, where he served on the Board, and visited members and friends of Central Presbyterian Church in the hospital as a volunteer. He later went on to become the Director of Christian Education at First Presbyterian Church of Farmington (Michigan), and served as pastoral care intern there during his training to become a Commissioned Ruling Elder (Lay Pastor). During his final internship at Crossroads Presbyterian Church, the pandemic led his mentor, the Rev. Dr. John H. Pavelko, to retire, whereupon Pastor Josh was commissioned as Pastor in September 2020. Pastor Josh is married to his wife Dawn, a mathematics professor, and together they have two children, Peter, and Hannah.

Natalie and her husband Rick joined Crossroads in 2001.  Their daughters Rachel and Valerie grew up at Crossroads. Through the years she has served as Children’s Ministry Team member, Deacon, Elder, Ministry Assistant, and Financial Secretary.  The church’s books are maintained every week after the worship service, and Natalie hopes any members with questions about the church’s financial status will stop by.

A few words about myself...
I have been working at Crossroads for more than four years.  I was welcomed from the very beginning as a member, not just a visitor.  I worked for Plymouth Canton Schools over 20 years, and retired from there.  I have one son and six grandchildren. Life is good.
