Here are things I need to fill in some gaps and to improve the site:
Try the Sample Database Table Using ASP It is a made-up membership list with various forms and queries. It may not work well on Netscape. On Internet Explorer, you will have to modify your security settings to allow ActiveX controls to work. E-mail me (webmaster@crossroadspc.org) if you want details. Also give me your suggestions and comments. NOTE: It may not load if it is already in use. This is basically raw data.
Try the Sample Database Filtered Output Using ASP It is a made-up membership list with various forms and queries. It may not work well on Netscape. On Internet Explorer, you will have to modify your security settings to allow ActiveX controls to work. E-mail me (webmaster@crossroadspc.org) if you want details. Also give me your suggestions and comments. NOTE: It may not load if it is already in use. This is filtered for members who joined after 1990.
Try the Sample Database Sorted Output Using ASP It is a made-up membership list with various forms and queries. It may not work well on Netscape. On Internet Explorer, you will have to modify your security settings to allow ActiveX controls to work. E-mail me (webmaster@crossroadspc.org) if you want details. Also give me your suggestions and comments. NOTE: It may not load if it is already in use. This has selected members who joined after 1990.
Try out the Newsletter pages. They are scanned in and the page size is a compromise between print size and trying to minimize scrolling left to right on 15 inch monitors.
Electronic files of the latest newsletter, bulletins, and other
things we should publish.
Pictures (digital or prints).
The address of sites with things you would like to see on this site (and a
description of what you like.
Feedback on links or other annoyances that occur on your machine
(tell me what browser you ar using, i.e. Internet Explorer 5.0, Netscape 4.6,
AOL 4.0, etc.).
Other suggestions.
Known issues on the main pages include: AOL 3.0 can't parse the
links to the map and driving directions. AOL 3.0 gives messages about the hit
counter from beseen.com. Netscape may not play sound files if you have a plug-in
for "audio/mid" files
(as opposed to "audio/midi"). Interland (our server) indicates that
Netscape 4.6 needs the Crescendo plug-in for "midi" files
(use the Live-Update link on the Links
page"). The free version is adequate.
Please direct e-mail regarding the site and its contents to the webmaster@crossroadspc.org or use the Contact page to contact others.
