  2. Read the Scripture from Matthew?

  3. Take a moment to meditate on the Scripture.

  1. What is the most serious crises in your life?

  2. What do you think is the most serious crises facing our nations?

  3. What is the likelihood that any of these will be resolved quickly?

  1. Where was John?

  2. What did he do?

  3. What question did John's disciple ask him?

  4. What did Jesus tell John's disciples?

  5. What six questions did Jesus ask the crowd?

  6. What do you notice about these questions?

  7. Why did he those particular questions?

  8. How did Jesus discribe John?

  9. Who is John greater than?

  1. When you have been in serious crises in the past, what helped to pull you out?

  2. How could this passage help you in a crises?

closing

  1. Read the Scripture lesson again and take a moment to meditate on the passage.

  2. What is God saying to you?

  3. Thank God for his presence and ask him to apply what you have learned to your life
